Scribblenauts Weather List, Strategy Guide NDSWeather Words & Objects List for Scribblenauts on Nintendo DS, DSi
Word Lists and Strategy Guide for Scribblenauts on Nintendo DS / DSi. Use Weather Words, objects, and effects to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.
Scribblenauts offers truly unique, open-ended, "emergent gameplay" for the Nintendo DS Lite / DSi handheld gaming systems by developer 5th Cell. The main character Maxwell must solve puzzles by summoning objects, creatures, and people using the DS Stylus and writing the objects to make them spring to life. Write "Vampire" and a Vampire appears, write "Holy Water" and Maxwell can throw Holy Water at the Vampire to kill him. In Scribblenauts, the objective and true fun-factor isn't about solving puzzles and winning the game, it's about doing so in as imaginative way as possible. Sure, a handful of useful objects can be used time and time again to solve many of the game's puzzles, but why not try some of the more imaginative objects below? Read on for lists of unique weather words, effects, and objects, both peaceful and destructive, for Scribblenauts on Nintendo DS / DSi. Water and Ice List
Hail works surprisingly well against larger foes, as the relentless ice balls falling upon the victim can stun cause stunning or flinching. Monsoon, Spout, Fire Hose, and Snowman are some of the best ways to put out a fire. An Ice Block or Snowman can be picked up and placed on numerous fires to smother them, while the Fire Hose can be held and used on multiple fires as well. The Spout spurts water upwards, while a Monsoon consists of multiple rain clouds pouring water below. Of course if space is not an issue, why not just summon a waterfall? An Iceberg prevents ships from moving forward (Titanic anyone?). And a Tsunami apparently has the same destructive power as a Nuke, obliterating everything in the level, Maxwell included! Fire and Lava Words
Fire objects have multiple uses, and not all are destructive. Fire does work great as a means of dealing damage, and the fire can spread and destroy flammable objects like anything made of wood. However, it also causes fear in many enemies and creatures, which can herd them out of the way for a peaceful alternative. Fire is also a great source of light in caverns and darkened areas. Sky and Space Objects
Blackhole is one of the most useful objects available in Scribblenauts. It sucks in all nearby objects and destroys them - useful not just as a means for destroying enemies, but for just about any obstacle blocking Maxwell's path. Sun kills vampires but also provides the best means of lighting up dark levels. Lightning zaps enemies, but takes quite a few strikes before taking one down. The UFO offers one of the best means of air travel, but only in levels with enough room, and the tractor beam it comes with can come in handy. And the Meteor, when dropped from a high distance, destroys everything just like a Nuke.
